Professional PHLEBOTECH™ insole for Safe Clog clogs. Technology that stimulates blood circulation. Autoclavable up to 134°C and washable at 90°C. Developed in Portugal for healthcare professionals.
It is produced using PHLEBOTECH™ technology, which was developed with professionals who spend long shifts on their feet in mind. It is based on a design and textures specially conceived to stimulate the user's blood circulation.
A professional who spends many hours on their feet tends to have problems with numbness in the lower limbs and circulation issues, so WORKING SAFE, through years of development and research and with the help of healthcare professionals, developed PHLEBOTECH™.
1. Circulatory Technology for Those Who Live on Their Feet
Prolonged upright posture is one of the biggest silent challenges for healthcare, catering, and wellness professionals. Nurses, surgeons, chefs, and therapists are well acquainted with the feeling of heavy legs, swelling, and numbness at the end of a shift.
The PHLEBOTECH™ Insole, developed in Portugal exclusively for Safe Clog clogs, is not a conventional comfort insole. It is a circulatory stimulation device, the result of years of research with healthcare professionals, designed to actively intervene in the vascular health of the lower limbs.
2. The PHLEBOTECH™ Science: Stimulate to Prevent
Unlike foams that only cushion, PHLEBOTECH™ technology is based on a biomechanical and physiological principle:
- Active Circulatory Stimulation: The strategic surface design and differential textures create micro-stimuli on the sole of the foot during walking. This continuous massage activates venous return, combating the blood stasis characteristic of long hours in an upright position.
- Prevention of Occupational Pathologies: Tingling, nocturnal cramps, and the sensation of "lead legs" are signs of circulatory fatigue. PHLEBOTECH™ acts on the cause, not just the symptom, helping to prevent venous insufficiency and edema.
- Portuguese Clinical Development: Designed nationally with the active collaboration of doctors and occupational health specialists. It is not an imitation of Asian insoles – it is a solution designed for the reality of healthcare professionals.
3. Total Sterilization: The Gold Standard in Hygiene
The health and catering sectors do not tolerate half measures. The PHLEBOTECH™ insole is the only one on the Portuguese market that supports the full hospital sterilization cycle:
- Autoclavable up to 134°C: Subject the insole to 15 minutes of pressurized steam at high temperature. Multidrug-resistant bacteria, fungi, and spores are totally eliminated. Ideal for operating theaters, clean rooms, and laboratories.
- Washing at 90°C: For daily sanitization, a washing machine at 90°C is sufficient to remove grease, organic fluids, and aggressive detergents.
- Structural Integrity: PHLEBOTECH™ materials have been formulated to maintain circulatory stimulation capacity even after dozens of autoclaving cycles. It does not deform, soften, or lose its functional texture.
4. Lemon Scent: Perceived Hygiene
The subtle lemon scent incorporated into the insole is not merely a cosmetic detail. In high-standard environments, the olfactory perception of cleanliness is a factor of confidence and well-being.
- Neutralizes residual perspiration odors.
- Conveys immediate freshness when worn.
- Reinforces the sensory identity of the Working Safe brand.
5. Perfect Synergy with Safe Clog
Safe Clog clogs are the footwear of choice for operating theaters and the pharmaceutical industry, recognized for their anti-static capability and non-slip sole. The PHLEBOTECH™ insole is the indispensable physiological complement:
- In a Hospital Context: The surgeon, immobile for hours, benefits from circulatory stimulation without needing to move. The insole actively works to prevent deep vein thrombosis in at-risk professionals.
- In Pharmacies and Opticians: Long periods of customer service at the counter. The insole combats static fatigue and keeps legs operational until the store closes.
6. Technology Maintenance
To ensure the longevity of PHLEBOTECH™ and the effectiveness of circulatory stimulation:
- Pre-wash: Clean the insole with a damp cloth to remove surface residues.
- Positioning: Place the insole inside the Safe Clog clog for the washing/autoclaving cycle.
- Technical Cycle: Wash in a machine up to 90°C or autoclave at 134°C/15min.
- Drying: Dry at room temperature. Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure.
